Richard Hughes is a seasoned mortgage broker and the visionary owner of Hughes Lending Solutions. With a career in financial services that began in 2000, Richard has held pivotal roles with respected institutions such as Vanguard, American Express, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. These experiences equipped him with a deep understanding of financial markets, lending strategies, and client service that now form the backbone of his brokerage.

Richard’s academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and two years toward a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). His commitment to continuous learning and innovation ensures that Hughes Lending Solutions operates not only as a mortgage brokerage but also as a trusted financial partner for individuals, families, and investors.

In January 2023, Richard launched Hughes Lending Solutions LLC, an independent mortgage brokerage licensed in Florida, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Texas. What began as his personal vision has grown into a company with a team of Mortgage Loan Originators who share his commitment to integrity, precision, and results. Together, they provide tailored solutions including purchases, refinances, home equity lines of credit, DSCR and investor loans, commercial financing, renovation loans, and reverse mortgages.

Richard is also known for fostering strong realtor and industry partnerships, aligning financial expertise with real estate professionals to deliver a seamless experience from application to closing. His leadership style is collaborative, forward-thinking, and rooted in empowering both clients and colleagues to succeed.
